First Pokémon Centre Outside of Japan to Open At Changi Airport Next Year
Yes, you read that title right.
The first ever Pokemon Centre outside of Japan is set to operate out of Singapore’s Changi Airport March next year. With over eleven outlets scattered throughout Japan, the store in Changi Airport will be the first of its kind anywhere outside of Japan which will offer a wide array of Pokemon toys, plushies, costumes and everything in between.
Jewel Changi Airport is a mixed-use development at Changi Airport in Singapore and the Pokemon Store is just one of many future attractions which definitely increase the stature of the airport which has won the title of the World’s Best Airport several times to date.
Costing over SG$1.7 billion, the Jewel Changi project is a 10-storey complex – consisting of 5 floors above ground and another 5 underground levels. The Pokemon Center will be one of the 280 tenants which will occupy the mall within the airport.
So… who’s up for a quick trip down south?
