TGS 2019: New Final Fantasy VII Remake Trailer Brings In Familiar Faces & Summons

Square Enix has released a new trailer for the upcoming Final Fantasy VII Remake and it’s chock full of fan-pleasing moments. It features the return of familiar faces like Turk agents Reno, Rude, and Tseng, who are operatives of the oppressive Shinra Electric Power Company.

Besides gameplay segments with Cloud, Aerith, Barrett and Tifa, we also get a glimpse of two iconic summons, Ifrit and Shiva, as well as a slew of returning minigames like the infamous squatting one featuring Cloud.

What’s interesting is that one of the characters in the trailer, namely the creepy Don Corneo, seems to be voiced by none other than legendary Star Wars actor and Joker voice actor Mark Hamill, though this has yet to be confirmed.

The Final Fantasy VII Remake is slated on 3 March 2020. In the meantime, feast your eyes on the new TGS 2019 trailer below.
