Konami Announces New Silent Hill Game, But…

Good news: Konami will be reinvigorating the Silent Hill franchise. Bad news: it’ll be a video slot cabinet.

Konami announced and displayed its latest Silent Hill game in the form of a video slot gambling machine at this year’s G2E expo. It features:

  • a 49-inch J curve display in 4K Ultra HD,
  • a sleek, exciting canvas for high-profile linked progression,
  • thrilling scenes, sounds, and characters from Konami’s recognized entertainment legacy,
  • the final glittering nail in the Silent Hill coffin as Konami proceeds to “pachinko” up its past successes and at the same time piss all over its legacy.

In all seriousness, if Konami is still gunning for the “best worst company that isn’t doing any customers any favours yet somehow still gets rich from its exercise clubs and gambling sectors” award, they’re still in first place. Bravo; glad you still care for your fanbase.
