First Episode Of Pokémon Sword & Shield Mini-Series Is Available On YouTube

2020 is going to be a great year for Pokémon Sword & Shield fans. We’ve got two major DLCs coming our way with hundreds of new Pokemon set to appear in the game. While waiting for the firs DLC (The Isle of Armor) to arrive, fans can enjoy a little something on YouTube.

The official Pokémon YouTube channel has just uploaded the first episode of Pokémon: Twilight Wings. It’s an anime mini-series set in the same world as Pokémon Sword & Shield. There will be a total of seven episodes and they’ll be released monthly.

Here’s a short synopsis of the show as provided by the official Pokemon US website:

Pokémon: Twilight Wings will show in detail the dreams of Galar’s residents, the realities they face, the challenges they must overcome, and the conflicts they must resolve.”

The mini-series is animated by Studio Colorido, the studio behind anime movies such as Penguin Highway and Typhoon Noruda. Let’s end the article with a pretty little treat: the show’s poster which most of you have probably never seen:
