Fallout 76 Wastelanders Trailer Unveils April Release Date

Bethesda wasn’t exactly impressing anyone when they announced at E3 2019 that the much-maligned Fallout 76 was going to receive a massive expansion update in the form of Wastelanders. Well, it’s coming anyway, and pretty soon at that; with a release date of 14 April 2020.

The Fallout 76 Wastelanders update will add human NPCs (not just robotic ones), new main questlines, choices and consequences (in the form of dialogue trees), as well as new weapons and gear.

According to the new trailer, there’s also more story content, with two opposing factions fighting for the upper hand for the secrets of West Virginia are revealed, including The Settlers (who have come to find a new home), and the Raiders (who have come to exploit them).

Regardless of what you think about the game (or my opinions on it, check out my full review here), at least the Wastelanders update will be free for anyone who owns Fallout 76. Plus, it will be releasing on the same day that the game will officially be launching on Steam.
