Hulu Unveils Chilling First Trailer For Marvel’s Helstrom

Hulu has released a new trailer for its upcoming Marvel horror series, Helstrom.
The trailer seems to lean heavily into horror, with the Helstrom siblings investigating something that their mother let loose on the world. However, it gives very little away about the actual plot of the series, or who else from the Marvel Cinematic Universe will be appearing.
In the comics, Daimon and Satana Hellstrom (Ana Helstrom’s original name) are both children of the demon Marduk Kurios. They were even once part of the Midnight Sons group, which consisted of Marvel’s magic-based heroes like Ghost Rider and Blade.
The official synopsis for Helstrom reads:
As the son and daughter of a mysterious and powerful serial killer, Helstrom follows Daimon (Tom Austen) and Ana Helstrom (Sydney Lemmon), and their complicated dynamic, as they track down the worst of humanity; each with their own attitude and skills.
It stars Tom Austen as Daimon Helstrom, Sydney Lemmon as Ana Helstrom, Elizabeth Marvel as Victoria Helstrom, Ariana Guerra as Gabriella Rossetti, Robert Wisdom as Caretaker, June Carryl as Louise Hastings and Alain Uy as Chris Yen.
Since Helstrom was executive produced by Paul Zbyszewski, Karim Zreik and Jeph Loeb (under the now-defunct Marvel Television), it remains to be seen if it will even be officially considered a part of the MCU’s canon.
Perhaps we’ll learn more about the upcoming TV series during New York Comic Con 2020, which is slated to take place online from 8 to 11 October 2020.
Helstrom will debut its 10-episode first season exclusively on Hulu on 16 October 2020. In the meantime, check out the trailer below:
