Koei Tecmo Isn’t Giving A Damn About The English Version Of Persona 5 Scramble Anymore

If you’re a hardcore Persona 5 fan hoping to play the Musou spin-off on Nintendo Switch and PS4, well you’re stuck with the Japanese version of the game. Turns out that the heavily-touted English localized version may not happen.

The game isn’t mentioned anywhere on Koei Tecmo’s latest 2nd quarter of 2020 fiscal report (via Siliconera). While an English version of the game was mentioned in 2019’s fiscal reports, the link in the 2020 report is replaced with this revised version that removes all mention of the English version. Only the Asian localization of the game -which was out June 2020- was stated.

Instead, Koei Tecmo is totally focused on Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, as well as Atelier Ryza 2 and a couple of other Dynasty Warrior titles in 2021. So much for the Phantom Thieves’ latest making it outside of Japan. Enjoy some more Musou Zelda action below if you’re feeling salty about these recent turn of events.
