Southeast Asians may have been given the short stick for the release of the PS5, but it’s better late than never. Several Southeast Asian countries have finally received their official prices and release dates for the next-gen console.
So, far that includes Singapore, Malaysia, and the Philippines. We have listed down only SEA countries with official prices and release dates as announced by PlayStation Asia (or verified sources):
Malaysia PS5 Prices And Release Date
The PS5 is slated to launch in Malaysia on 11 December 2020.
The Malaysian prices for the PS5 and its peripherals are as follows (via PlayStation Asia):
PULSE 3D wireless headset (with 3D audio support and dual noise-cancelling microphones) – P$5,590
HD Camera (with dual 1080p lenses for gamers to broadcast themselves along with their epic gameplay moments) – P$3,290
DualSense Charging Station (to conveniently charge two DualSense Wireless Controllers) – P$1,690
Those in the Philippines can start pre-ordering the PS5 starting from 20 November 2020. Some local retailers in the country have updated their plans for PS5 pre-orders, such as DataBlitz below:
Indonesia PS5 Prices And Release Date
The PS5 is slated to launch in the Philippines on 22 January 2021.
