Modern Warfare (2019) Narrative & Direction Leads Leave Infinity Ward

The two people who were instrumental in Call of Duty’s recent direction and narrative success from 2014 to 2019 will be leaving Infinity Ward.

They happen to be Taylor Kurosaki and Jacob Minkoff. The former served as the company’s studio narrative director while the latter was design director. Both men help shape the awesome single-player campaigns and overall tone of the Call of Duty games since 2014.

“Earlier this year, we decided to move on from Infinity Ward to pursue a rare and exciting new opportunity. It was an honor to be a part of the studio for the last 7 years and we’re so proud of what we created together with Modern Warfare and Infinite Warfare. We wish the team nothing but the best.”

It’s interesting that this news cropped up, since the next Modern Warfare is deep in development and is slated for 2022.
