Shazam 2 Suits Get A Helluva Update
Shazam! Fury of the Gods (or Shazam 2) just unveiled the show’s new costumes worn by the heroes in the upcoming DC Comics movie sequel.
Film director David F. Sandberg posted a set picture featuring Shazam and the Marvel Family in their new suits. They look less exaggerated in the muscle department and seem more natural, if we’re being honest. The costumes has more gold accents and a sleek look in comparison to the last film.
The Twitter post was meant to get ahead of any potential leakers which would definitely happen for a high profile project like this.
The photo spotlights Zachary Levy as Shazam/Billy Batson front and centre, standing together with Adam Brody’s Freddy Freeman, Meagan Good’s Darla Dudley, Ross Butler’s Eugene Choi, Michelle Borth’s Mary Bromfield, and D.J. Cotrona’s Pedro Peña.

What’s the plot of Shazam 2? We have no idea save for the fact that the aforementioned actors will reprise their roles from the first film. Based on the title, we may learn more about the six gods who gave their powers to the Shazam Family. Also, we know that the show’s next villain will be a psychic-powered caterpillar named Mister Mind. No, really; the fiend was teased in the post-credits Shazam! film. With that villain in the picture, it’ll only be a matter of time until we get a live-action adaptation of the Monster Society of Evil.
Shazam 2 will be out in cinemas 2023.
