[Rumour] Dragon Age 4 On Track For 2023 Release

A lot of people are wondering about Bioware’s projects from EA, especially their absence during this morning’s EA Play livestream. We now know what happened to one of them, sort of.

Dragon Age 4, a CRPG that’s a long time coming since Dragon Age: Inquisition, is on track for a potential 2023 release according to sources close to Venturebeat. The game’s marketing will start in 2022.

Publicly, EA and Bioware made it clear a month ago that it wouldn’t have its RPG games at EA Play.

“We’re hard at work creating the next [Dragon Age] and [Mass Effect] games and have some exciting stuff coming to Star Wars: The Old Republic.”

Officially, the company hasn’t announced the date and has no plans to share it yet. Though fans should rest assured that the game will still be a single-player narrative adventure like past entries, with maybe an online feature similar to Dragon Age: Inquisition.
