Mobile Legends M3 World Championship Returns This December

Mobile Legends Bang Bang developer Moonton has announced that the 2021 Mobile Legends Bang Bang M2 World Championship will take place in December 2021.

It has been an eventful year for the mobile esports landscape. Kicking off 2021 with a huge bang was the M2 World Championship, the first offline esports tournament held within Southeast Asia amidst the pandemic. The safety protocols and the cooperation from the teams led to the event being one of the most celebrated and globally-watched1 MOBA esports tournaments, with over three million spectators viewing it.

Bren Esports is the grand prize winner of the Mobile Legends M2 World Championship that took place last week from 18 January until 24 January 2021.

The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Southeast Championship Cup (MSC) 2021 also smashed records with a peak of 2.2 million concurrent viewers – almost x10 times more than the last series2. There were new heights achieved with the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) series.  The MPL-PH league made a momentous transition into a franchise model, enabling revenue sharing across the esports teams.

The series has also expanded to Cambodia and Brazil – two new exciting countries that have seen strong interest from MLBB players to participate in the mobile esports landscape.

There’s a lot more Mobile Legends esports action coming into the second half of 2021. With the MPL series gearing up for the Regular Season, preparations are well underway for the flagship international tournament. M3 will be held offline in December, bringing together the best  MLBB teams worldwide to compete for the top title.

More details on the event will be available soon, including the location and tournament schedule. Stay tuned for the latest Mobile Legends news on Kakuchopurei!
