Nintendo Switch Units Worldwide Sales Top 107.65 Million; Pokemon Arceus Sells Like Hotcakes

Nintendo announced in its latest earnings release that it has sold 107.6 million Nintendo Switch units as of 31 March, 2022.

A totally of 4.11 million Nintendo Switch hardware units and 55.77 million software units were sold during the three months ended 31 March. On a related note, Pokemon Arceus is the top-selling 2022 Nintendo title right now, selling at 12.64 million units. The two other best seller games are old titles from a few years back: New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe at 13.31 million units and Splatoon 2 at 13.30 million units. Here’s the full title ranking and sales numbers:

  1. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – 45.33 million.
  2. Animal Crossing: New Horizons – 38.64 million.
  3. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate – 28.17 million.
  4. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild – 26.55 million.
  5. Pokemon Sword / Pokemon Shield – 24.27 million.
  6. Super Mario Odyssey – 23.50 million.
  7. Super Mario Party – 17.78 million.
  8. Pokemon Brilliant Diamond / Pokemon Shining Pearl – 14.65 million.
  9. Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! / Pokemon: Let’s Go, Eevee! – 14.53 million.
