Taika Waititi’s Star Wars Movie Is Coming Next Year

In an interview with Total Film, LucasFilm president Kathleen Kennedy was asked about the next Star Wars movie, which will be helmed by Taika Waititi (whose next movie is Thor Love And Thunder in July 2022).

She said:

“Yeah. Well, not 2023, but late 2023. We haven’t locked anything in.”

It’s been a while since the last Star Wars movie, which was Star Wars Episode IX The Rise Of Skywalker. However, no other details were revealed about Taika Waititi’s Star Wars movie, including the cast, synopsis, or even what era of Star Wars it will take place in.

Star Wars Episode IX The Rise Of Skywalker was horrible, so it’s understandable why Lucasfilm is hesitant to release another Star Wars movie so soon.
