Capcom Is Finally Releasing A Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection

After releasing both a Mega Man X and Mega Man Zero Legacy Collection, all which are splendid collections by the by, what’s next for Capcom? How about all six(ish) Mega Man Battle Network games?

Capcom has announced the Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection, which contains all the Mega Man Battle Network RPG titles featuring the pretty nifty active card-based combat gameplay. The physical version will be an all-in-one pack for the PS4 and Nintendo Switch versions, while the digital version will be split into two volumes. Wonder how that will work out price-wise?

Here’s the list of games in the collection. Apparently, Capcom is adding in both versions of parts 3, 4, 5, and 6 in a time when they’re copying Pokemon and GameFreak’s cartridge release formula. You know, different new content for each version of a game to goad collectors to buy two versions of the same sequel:

  • Mega Man Battle Network
  • Mega Man Battle Network 2
  • Mega Man Battle Network 3 White
  • Mega Man Battle Network 3 Blue
  • Mega Man Battle Network 4 Red Sun
  • Mega Man Battle Network 4 Blue Moon
  • Mega Man Battle Network 5 Team Protoman
  • Mega Man Battle Network 5 Team Colonel
  • Mega Man Battle Network 6 Cybeast Gregar
  • Mega Man Battle Network 6 Cybeast Falzar

The Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection will be out in 2023 for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam).
