Doctor Who & Fawlty Towers Actor Bernard Cribbins Is Dead

Veteran British actor Bernard Cribbins, known for his recent Doctor Who works, is dead. He was 93.

This news was made public via Cribbins’ agent Gavin Barker Associates. He is known for being a notorious guest in hit TV show Fawlty Towers, being the narrator in The Wombles, and also starring in films and TV shows like The Railway Children, Carry On, and Right Said Fred.

“Bernard’s contribution to British entertainment is without question. He was unique, typifying the best of his generation, and will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing and working with him.”
