Guilty Gear Xrd Is Getting Rollback Netcode

Fighting game fans who stuck with Guilty Gear Xrd through thick and thin will finally get their much-requested wish.

Arc System Works announced during fighting game tournament CEOtaku that Guilty Gear Xrd REV 2 and Guilty Gear Xrd Revelator will be getting rollback netcode. Instead of, you know, a Guilty Gear Strive character reveal which a good number of people are clamouring for. Regardless, it’s still a major update for the people still playing the game since 2014.

The game’s rollback public test starts late October for a limited time on the PC version (via Steam). The update will most likely be out in full after that period.
