Xbox Series X/S Users Are Getting New Noise Suppression Feature

You no longer have to withstand annoying sounds like clicking or loud breathing noises when you play online. Xbox has just released a new Xbox Series X/S Noise Suppression feature, which is available right now after downloading the latest Xbox Series X/S system update.

According to the patch notes:

We’ve added noise suppression to parties on Xbox Series X|S consoles to help remove unwanted noises like gamepad clicks, breathing, and background noise from your parties.

If you want to keep some types of background noise in your parties, like music, you can also turn noise suppression off. Just open the guide, scroll to Parties & chats, and select Options. There you can enable or disable noise suppression.

Xbox is just the latest company to offer Noise Suppression technology after other apps like Zoom, Discord and Nvidia.

The new Xbox Series X/S update also added the ability for players to jump into a game from their friends’ shared captures. This means that you can now watch your friend’s match highlights and start playing the game immediately after that.
