Gears Of War Is Getting A Movie & Animated Series Adaptations From Netflix

Netflix, in partnership with Gears Of War developer The Coalition, has announced plans to adapt the Gears Of War franchise into a live-action feature film, followed by an adult animated series, as well as more potential adaptations.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, no filmmakers or producers are currently attached to the multi-adaptations. No other details have been revealed. Gears Of War originally launched for Xbox 360 in 2006. The most recent instalment was 2019’s Gears 5 for the Xbox One and PC, as well as 2020’s Gears Tactics, which was a turn-based strategy spinoff game.
