SNK Reveals KOF XV Additions Goenitz & Sylvie Paula Paula, Plus New Garou MOTW 2 Info
EVO Japan’s The King of Fighters XV finals had a few big announcements before the tournament, mostly involving new content for the current 3v3 fighting game and its upcoming 2D fighting sequel to Garou: Mark of the Wolves.
First up is KOF XV: Goenitz has been announced as the next new character in the title. He will be a free update (most likely a boss challenge given his status) and will be out in Summer 2023 for the game. For those who don’t know, Goenitz is one of the major antagonists in the KOF series, making his debut in KOF ’96 as the final boss. He’s renowned for his wind and tornado moves.
Sylvie Paula Paul is also going to be in KOF XV; she’s an eccentric short fighter with electric powers, and will be out in Summer 2023 for the game. Check out how the both of them look in-game below.
In addition, SNK reminded everyone at EVO Japan and the world that they’re hard at work with Garou: Mark of the Wolves 2. They also teased that the game will feature Terry Bogard, Joe Higashi, and Andy Bogard in the mix. So that equates to 6 confirmed playable characters in the sequel:
- Rock Howard
- Kain R. Heinlein
- Billy Kane
- Terry Bogard
- Joe Higashi
- Andy Bogard
No release date or platform for the game has been mentioned.
