The Super Mario Bros. Movie Soundtrack Is Available Right Now
If you want to hear awesome remixes of Koji Kondo’s 80s and 90s Mario music, look no further than this recent Spotify update.
Digital music streaming services like Spotify has released the Super Mario Bros. Movie soundtrack on Spotify. No, not the licensed music nonsense: the show’s actual soundtrack that features Koji Kondo’s music arranged by composer Brian Tyler in loving and epic fashion.
35 of the tracks were composed by Tyler. The other two are Bowser’s song “Peaches” by Jack Black and the Mario Brothers Rap from the ’89 cartoon The Super Mario Bros Super Show. If you want a physical version of the OST, you may need to visit iam8bit for a 2xLP vinyl set, along with CD and cassette versions and a 7? vinyl single of “Peaches”.
For the rest of the world, here’s the full playlist via Spotify.
The Super Mario Bros Movie will be out in Malaysia on 20th April, but it’s out right now in most SEA countries and most parts of the world. Here’s our early review of the show; it’s fun but definitely classified under fluff entertainment.
