Convergence Is A League Of Legends Spin-Off Platformer Featuring Ekko

The Riot Forge initiative has been busy as of late, with bangers like Ruined King and Mageseeker in tow. Who would have thought that there’s one more surprise from the side Riot Games publisher: a 2D platformer called Convergence?

Convergence: A League of Legends Story stars everybody’s time-hopper Ekko who is tasked with protecting the city of Zaun, but all the while being enveloped in a time and space conspiracy that even makes him unsure of himself.

There’s some bits of 2D platforming gameplay where Ekko grinds onto rails and uses his weaponry, and also major appearances of key League of Legends characters like Camille, Warwick, and Jinx. The game is set in Zaun; Jinx HAS to be in the game somewhat, hopefully with an appearance of Vi and Caitlyn to boot.

Convergence: A League of Legends Story will be out on 23 May for PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, and Xbox. Check out the game description & trailer below:

Developed by Double Stallion Games, CONVERGENCE: A League Of Legends Story is a 2D Action Platformer with an incredible art style that focuses on tight dynamic combat and unique exploration opportunities afforded by Ekko’s ability to travel in space and time.
