Saints Row 2022 Gets New DLC; Available Right Now

Even if the game flopped hard last year, Volition and Deep Silver are still making right with the Saints Row reboot. The first DLC that’s planned? It’s already sorted.

Saints Row’s first expansion DLC The Heist & The Hazardous is out right now alongside a free content update called the Sunshine Springs update. The story DLC pits you and your crew on a revenge heist against movie star Chris Hardy. Hey, if there’s anyone that deserves vengeance, it’s douchebag movie stars with money they never deserved in the first place.

The free Sunshine Springs update features the following:

• All-new playable district of Sunshine Springs.
• Improved combat feel, gameplay flow, and balancing.
• Selfie mode.
• 12 new emotes and emote selection wheel.
• New camera angle for vehicles.
• And a huge number of additional fixes and tweaks.

If you rather have a meatier Saints Row experience this year -robbing cars, punching bystanders, wingsuit glide like mad- the DLC is available for RM17 on Epic Game Store. It’s also available for Xbox Series, Xbox One, PS5, and PS4.
