Metal Gear Solid 4 Gun Of The Patriots Is Finally Coming To Other Platforms

Big news for Metal Gear Solid fans, it seems like Konami has accidentally revealed that Metal Gear Solid 4 Guns Of The Patriots is being freed from being stuck on the PS3 and is finally releasing on other current platforms.

It was Twitter user Nitroid who originally spotted that inspecting the Metal Gear Solid timeline page on the official Metal Gear Solid website would reveal placeholder buttons for Metal Gear Solid 4 Guns Of The Patriots, Metal Gear Solid 5 Ground Zeroes, Metal Gear Solid 5 Phantom Pain, and Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker. It looks like these will be part of the Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol. 2.

However, at the time of writing, Konami has yet to officially confirm or announce Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol. 2 and its contents.

Metal Gear Solid 4 originally came out for the PS3 in 2008.

Metal Gear Solid Collection Vol. 1 launches on 24 October 2023 for the PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. It will include Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid 2 Sons Of Liberty, Metal Gear Solid 3 Snake Eater, Metal Gear, Metal Gear 2 Solid Snake, and Snake’s Revenge.
