Superman Legacy Finds Its Man Of Steel & Lois Lane

DC Studios boss James Gunn has confirmed that the upcoming Superman Legacy cast has finally found its lead actors. David Corenswet will play Clark Kent AKA Kal-El AKA Superman and Rachel Brosnahan will play Lois Lane. Corenswet is best known for his breakout role in Netflix’s The Politician, while Brosnahan is famous for her role in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.

Superman Legacy will be directed by James Gunn, but none of the rest of the cast members has been revealed yet. It is slated to premiere on 11 July 2025.

According to Warner Bros’ official logline, Superman Legacy tells the story of Superman’s journey to reconcile his Kryptonian heritage with his human upbringing as Clark Kent of Smallville, Kansas. He is the embodiment of truth, justice and the American way, guided by human kindness in a world that sees kindness as old-fashioned.
