JRPG Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes Is Delayed To Next Year
The successor to the Suikoden series, Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, is facing a setback.
The upcoming JRPG featuring a 100 heroes to recruit -either as party members or support heroes- will be delayed to Q2 2024 according to publisher 505 Games and developer Rabbit & Bear Studios. The game will be out for PC, Xbox Series, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, and Nintendo Switch. It’s also going to be a Day One Xbox Game Pass entry.
Why the delay? The devs said in a recent video “the decision was made in order to ensure the best possible story, and to reward the legion of [Kickstarter] backers with the best game experience possible”. It also didn’t help that the reception for the Eiyuden Chronicle Rising spin-off was lukewarm at best.
