SEGA Teams Up With LEGO For New DLC In Sonic Superstars

SEGA is always up for a unique collaboration, especially when it comes to the Sonic The Hedgehog franchise. And that’s exactly why they are excited to announce their new collaboration with LEGO in bringing new DLC for Sonic Superstars that transforms Sonic and Dr. Eggman into LEGO forms.

A new trailer showcased Sonic and Dr. Eggman appearing in LEGO forms. Although their appearance is mostly just aesthetic change, it still retains all the subtle nuances of their LEGO builds. We’re guessing that other characters such as Tails, Knuckles, and Amy will also be getting their own LEGO forms in this upcoming DLC. Aside from playing the game solo, Sonic Superstars will be available to play up to three players locally.

In addition, Sonic and Dr. Eggman are getting their own mini-LEGO skins as complementary DLC. Those who pre-order the digital version or physical edition of the game will receive the Dr. Eggman skin as a bonus.

Sonic Superstars is slated to launch for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Epic Games Store and Steam this Fall 2023.
