Yes, Diablo 4 Has A Rare & Large Butcher Running Around Sanctuary

If you’ve played Diablo 4 long enough, you know that the action RPG has a surprise boss in the form of The Butcher. He comes in unannounced in any Dungeon, has attacks that slow you down, and can pull you in with his chain for maximum melee punishment.

What most of us do not know is that there’s a rare and large version of The Butcher running around. As founded by action RPG-focused guide site Icy Veins, you can come across the world’s biggest Butcher by chance.

Apparently user IronHeart_777 came across this alpha Butcher when he and his friends were running a Nightmare Dungeon. Turns out that to get this version of the Butcher, the Nightmare Dungeon needed to have an Avenger modifier in it, where enemies grow in damage and size as monsters near them are killed. So yeah, luck is involved somewhat since The Butcher’s appearances are pretty random.
