Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising Will Be Out End Of November; Free Version Also Confirmed
In what could be a huge disappointment for Marvel vs Capcom fans hoping for news of an upcoming entry, along comes Arc System Works and CyGames post-Marvel vs Capcom 3 tournament with some fighting game stuff.
Arc System Works has announced the release date of Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising: 30th November. The 2D fighting game will be out for PC and PlayStation consoles.
In addition to that, there will be a free version of Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising available for the same platforms. The free version features the following:
- 4 characters to play as
- Part 1 of the story
- Online play and lobby access
- Fully-playable Grand Bruise Legends
The free version will have limited features, naturally.
The game’s second online beta is also confirmed for Fall 2023. Stay tuned to more news on that, including improvements to the game’s netcode for online play.
