Cygames and Arc System Works decide that Saturday 16th September’s a good time as any to release part 1 of its major console game showcase featuring its Granblue Fantasy series.

Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising

The first game is Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising, where the company talks about the game’s new features like its new Story Mode that comes with new in-game cutscenes and new characters like Rin (exclusive to GBVS Rising), as well as a digital figure mode that lets you create your own photos and stationary setpieces using in-game models.

Best of all, the hosts of the show play a few rounds of Grand Bruise! the Fall Guys-style battle royale game that’s in GBVS Rising. Check out the chaotic gameplay after the 8:55 mark of the gameplay video below.

GBVS Rising will be out on 30 November.

Granblue Fantasy Relink

Cygames showed off more new gameplay of its early 2024 action RPG Granblue Fantasy Relink, which previously never had a proper release date until recently. As such, there’s a lot of new gameplay featured here, like a new playable Draph character. There’s even a boss fight against a Quakadile featuring party members like Lancelot leading the charge, with super moves and chain moves aplenty to deal the hurt.

Granblue Fantasy Relink will be out on 1st February, 2024.
