Farming Sim Coral Island Is Coming To Consoles & PC This November

Publisher Humble Games and developer Stairway Games have announced their anticipated tropical farming sim, Coral Island will be leaving Early Access on PC after over a year and will be getting a 1.0 release for consoles and PC in November.

Coral Island is a farming simulation game that draws inspiration from popular titles like Stardew Valley and Animal Crossing. It offers a contemporary approach to the genre and was released in Early Access on both Steam and Microsoft Store in October of last year. This game distinguishes itself from other farming simulation games by incorporating the element of ocean exploration and conservation. In addition to tending to the farm, players will have the opportunity to embark on maritime adventures, encounter merfolks and interact with a variety of sea creatures.

Coral Island offers a wide range of activities for players to engage in. It includes all the classic elements commonly found in this genre, such as farming, crafting, fishing, mining, decorating, socializing, and, of course, romance. With 25 eligible islanders to choose from, players can participate in the exciting process of wooing and building relationships. As the seasons change, new opportunities for romance arise, adding depth and variety to the gameplay experience.

Moreover, the game boasts a remarkable artistic design and a picturesque tropical island backdrop, which creates a unique and enchanting atmosphere. Over time, the game has been enriched with a plethora of exciting updates, such as the addition of seasonal festivals, new areas to explore, a wide range of stylish clothing options, customizable features, the ability to adopt adorable pets, and a host of other thrilling features. These continuous updates have transformed Coral Island into a vibrant and ever-evolving gaming experience, offering players an abundance of delightful content to immerse themselves in.

The best part of it all is that the developer will undergo continuous updates throughout the upcoming year. These updates will introduce various new features such as multiplayer functionality, romantic interactions with merfolk characters, the opportunity for underwater farming, the inclusion of children, and many other exciting additions. This extensive list of enhancements is in line with the game’s 2024 roadmap.

The 1.0 version of the game is confirmed to bring more content and exciting new features unavailable in the Early Access versions:

  • Storyline to revitalize the town.
  • In-depth interactions with NPCs, including heart events and dynamic dialogue.
  • Marriage and the ability to start a family.
  • NPC outfits for Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter (most NPCs).
  • Bathing outfits (select NPCs).
  • Customization options for your house’s exterior.
  • More than 200 decoration options.
