These Rayman PC Games Are On Discount, Possibly To Celebrate Ubisoft’s Recent Anime
The new Netflix series Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix is out right now, and features a ton of Ubisoft game characters in one original sci-fi dystopia story. One of them is the Ubisoft mascot Rayman, a literal alien immigrant in the universe who is a rich TV host, spewing propaganda from the megacorporation he’s working for.
Quick to capitalize on the show’s recent release and the fact that Rayman is one of the highlights of the pretty insane animation series (next to Hidden One assassin Bullfrog), Steam has the following games on discount until 5th November GMT+8:
Rayman Origins (RM9.30)
A pretty awesome and stylish-looking 2D platformer with challenging levels, fast-paced gameplay and pitch-perfect controls, a cheery & catchy soundtrack, and co-op gameplay. Also for some reason, the fairy Betilla and her pals are rendered in a curvy fashion that made the internet thirst for them at one point.
Rayman Raving Rabbids (RM4)
Taking a cue from Mario party games, this Rayman title pits the hero in different simplistic multiplayer games (one of them including dancing) and introduces the company’s biggest mascots: the Rabbids.
Rayman Bundle (RM70.47)
This bundle includes the above titles and Rayman Legends, the sequel to the 2D-tastic platformer. More levels, more French nonsense, and a dozen of platforming princesses to rescue.
As you can tell, you should just go straight for the bundle, since you get three games. Too bad the older titles aren’t available here or on a significant discount: people do need to play Rayman 3 to see the dark path he slowly is on, leading to the highlights below:
