Prime Video November 2023: Our Picks & Highlights

Here are my personal recommendations and highlights for Prime Video Malaysia’s November 2023 lineup and how to fill up your free time with worthwhile content at home:

Invincible (Ongoing)

Based on the groundbreaking comic book by Robert Kirkman, Cory Walker, and Ryan Ottley, the story revolves around 18-year-old Mark Grayson, who’s just like every other guy his age—except his father is (or was) the most powerful superhero on the planet. Still reeling from Nolan’s betrayal in Season One, Mark struggles to rebuild his life as he faces a host of new threats, all while battling his greatest fear – that he might become his father without even knowing it.

Wayang Puaka (Now Streaming)

A group of amateur YouTube filmmakers decided to chronicle their paranormal investigation at an allegedly haunted local cinema. The footage that they had recorded during their investigation were the only things left behind as the entire crew went missing.

Knuckle Girl (Now Streaming)

A full-fledged action movie depicting Ran (Ayaka Miyoshi) who stands up against a mysterious organization and national power.

After discovering a clue related to the disappearance of her sister Yuzuki (Minami Kotona), Ran abandons her dream of becoming a world boxing champion and infiltrates a fighting hall owned by a mysterious organization. Convinced that her sister may be involved in a crime, Ran hunts down a mysterious organization with her ex-lover Kamiya (Koki Maeda) and Naruse (Kaota Hosoda), who is in the same situation as herself, in order to uncover the truth. To go.

Nikaido (Hideaki Ito), a central figure in the organization who feels that Ran is a threat, offers her to participate in a match at the fighting arena as a condition for saving his sister. Ran trains every day for a highly dangerous match that will take place in a lawless area, and instead of gloves, he puts on his knuckles and goes to the stage of a bloody battle.

Will Ran be able to save her younger sister, Yuzuki? And what is the huge crime that lurks behind her younger sister’s disappearance?

Attack On Titan Final Season Part 3 (Second Half) (5 November 2023)

Eren has become the Doomsday Titan and leads a charge against Fort Salta with countless Wall Titans. His battle against his former comrades and childhood friends comes to an end here.

 

Comedy Island Indonesia (9 November 2023)

A group of Indonesian comedians and actors embark on a side-splitting adventure, as they find themselves stranded on a remote island, unwittingly forced to compete in bizarre role-playing games where they must improvise to survive, and find a way to escape the island.

007 Road To A Million Season 1 (10 November 2023)

From the Hollywood producers behind the James Bond movies comes 007: Road to a Million. Nine pairs of everyday people are unleashed on an epic adventure through a series of James Bond-inspired challenges, to find questions hidden around the world, all for a shot at winning a life-changing £1,000,000 prize.

Congrats My Ex! (16 November 2023)

Congrats My Ex! is the story of a wedding planner, Risa (Ranee Campen), who is on the brink of bankruptcy, and reluctantly accepts a daunting Indian wedding project to revive her struggling business. The catch? The groom is her unresolved ex, Arun (Mahir Pandhi), and to complicate things further, she enlists the help of her other ex, Tim (Vachirawit Chivaaree). As the whirlwind of cultural ceremonies unfold over three exhilarating days, follow Risa’s journey of love, laughter, and rediscovery in the midst of a vibrant Indian wedding extravaganza.

Budak Flat (16 November 2023)

About 2 orphaned brothers– a snatch thief and a drug kingpin living in a rundown Kuala Lumpur flat. One brother wants out of the criminal world and the other won’t let him. The movie explores the rivalry between 2 brothers who find their relationship tested to a deadly conclusion when murder triggers a gang war in the low-cost flats.

Elf Me (24 November 2023)

Trip is an unconventional elf. As Santa’s helper, he seems to succeed only in building bizarre weapons rather than toys. Fate will lead him to meet Elia, a shy and unconventional boy pursued by a gang of bullies. The two will help each other and together discover the value of friendship.

Candy Cane Lane (1 December 2023)

Eddie Murphy stars in this holiday comedy adventure about a man on a mission to win his neighborhood’s annual Christmas home decoration contest. After Chris (Eddie Murphy) inadvertently makes a deal with a mischievous elf named Pepper (Jillian Bell) to better his chances of winning, she casts a magic spell that brings the 12 Days of Christmas to life and wreaks havoc on the whole town. At the risk of ruining the holidays for his family, Chris, his wife Carol (Tracee Ellis Ross), and their three children must race against the clock to break Pepper’s spell, battle deviously magical characters and save Christmas for everyone.
