The New Professor Layton Brainteaser Game Will Be Out In 2025

Developer and publisher Level-5 has announced the release year of its next puzzle game featuring one Professor Layton and his assistant Luke.

The new adventure is called Professor Layton and the New World of Steam, and it’ll be out in 2025. A long wait, yes, but Level-5 stressed that all of its upcoming games will be pushed back by a year. The new trailer features gameplay where the Professor and Luke are looking for a professor Eggmuffin. After finding the professor’s building, the duo have to figure out the entrance through a series of logic puzzles and processes of elimination. Elementary, really! Especially with the new 3D graphics and cel-shaded style cartoon art aesthetic.

No platforms have been announced, but it’ll most likely be for all: PC, mobile, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation consoles. It’s a goddamn puzzle game, after all.
