Malaysia Will Host Mobile Legends M6 World Championship Next Year

Mobile Legends publisher and developer Moonton announced today that Malaysia will be the next country to host the M esports series for the multiplayer online battle arena title: M6 World Championship.

The next world championship tournament will be hosted in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The announcement was made during the Grand Finals of M5 World Championship between Indonesian team ONIC Esports and The Philippines’ AP.Bren at the Rizal Memorial Coliseum in The Philippines. The last time the M series happened in Malaysia was for M1 back in 2019, with the winner of that tournament being the Indonesian team EVOS Legends.

The dates and actual location for M6 World Championships have yet to be revealed, though it will most likely be in December just like this year’s. In related news, this year’s M5 tournament featured two Malaysian esports representatives: Homebois and Team SMG. Both teams are in 9th-12th place and took home US$20,000 as a consolation prize.
