New Indie Psycho-Horror Thriller Game Reveil Launches Early March

Publisher Daedalic Entertainment and German developer Pixelsplit have confirmed their upcoming narrative-driven psychological horror thriller titled REVEIL will be launching for consoles and PC in early March this year.

Set against the backdrop of an “authentically orchestrated environment” that evokes the circus of the 1960s, REVEIL’s narrative revolves around Walter Thompson. The story begins with a disorienting scene as Walter awakens one morning unable to recall much of his previous evening. Added to the mystery, his wife Martha and daughter Dorie have disappeared without a trace. Walter’s quest to find answers leads him back to the Nelson Bros Circus, where he once served as a stage builder. As the narrative unfolds, the line between reality, memory, and imagination begins to blur, leaving Walter questioning his own perception of the world around him.

The game unfolds in five distinct acts, each presenting a vastly different scenario and meticulously crafted environments. Players must embark on a quest to uncover clues and solve puzzles within a “multi-layered narrative” that blends psychedelic, biographical, and unsettling elements. As the game progresses, the impressions become increasingly enigmatic, dark, and mysterious.

The primary objective is to locate Walter’s wife and daughter, Martha and Dorie, throughout this game. Pay attention to any clues they leave behind and strive to maintain sanity in this mind-bending world.

REVEIL is slated to launch for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam on 7 March 2024.
