New Silent Hill 2 Remake Trailer Unveils First Look At Gameplay & Combat

During the PlayStation State Of Play January 2024 live stream, Konami unveiled a new trailer for the upcoming Silent Hill 2 remake. It showcases gameplay and combat for the first time.

The Silent Hill 2 Remake was originally announced back in October 2022 during a PlayStation State Of Play livestream, but the game hasn’t received a proper release date. It is slated to launch for the PS5 and PC sometime in 2024.

The game’s synopsis reads:

Having received a letter from his deceased wife,
James heads to where they shared so many memories, in the hope of seeing her one more time: Silent Hill. There, by the lake, he finds a woman eerily similar to her…

“My name… is Maria,” the woman smiles. Her face, her voice… She’s just like her.
