Publisher and developer METASLA has announced its anticipated open-world pixel graphics fishing fantasy action RPG, Sea Fantasy is scheduled for consoles and PC next year.

In this game, players embark on a journey of two young men set out on an adventure to fish for the SeaAZ (which we assume is an alternate name for ‘Sea’), filled with marine creatures. Additionally, players can engage in dungeon exploration, where they’ll face traps and uncover valuable treasures. Not much has been disclosed of its storyline but it seems there will be dragons fighting which means that “the destruction of the world is imminent”.

For traversal, players can explore the open world using a boat, allowing them to navigate freely and discover various areas. Regarding gameplay mechanics, fishing plays a significant role throughout the game. Players will be equipped with a gauge meter, indicating their success in capturing the fish. Upon successfully reeling in the catch, players can strip the materials for crafting and other uses.

The materials that players gather can be used to craft various types of fishing rods, including Iron Rods, Shell Rods, Horn Rods, Ice Rods, and more. Also included is a stats screen that shows the level, power, technic, and others.

Although no specifics of the consoles the game will be launched on, Sea Fantasy is due out sometime in February 2025 and confirmed for PC via Steam.
