Star Wars Celebration Japan 2025 Unveils Poster One Year Ahead Of Event
During the Star Wars Celebration in London back in 2023, it was already announced that the next Star Wars Celebration event would be taking place in Japan in 2025. Now that we’re only one year away from Star Wars Celebration Japan, Lucasfilm and Disney have unveiled the official poster and teaser for the upcoming event.
Star Wars Celebration Japan 2025 is set for 18 April to 20 April 2025, at the Makuhari Messe. This will be the first Star Wars Celebration held in Japan since 2008.
The key art has been created in the traditional Japanese black ink painting style known as sumi-e, with Darth Vader placed in the foreground. Brush strokes extend from the Sith Lord to the branches of a cherry blossom tree, leading to AT-ATs, X-wings, and TIE fighters. The Rising Sun of the Japanese flag balances the image, with Mount Fuji featured in its centre.

Tickets for Star Wars Celebration Japan 2025 will go on sale on 3 May 2024 at 7 am GMT+8. More information will be revealed in the future.
Star Wars Celebration is skipping 2024 because, in the past, it’s never been an annual event. It usually had a two or three-year gap between events, and only sometimes having had multiple annual events in a row.
In the meantime, head on over here to refresh yourself on everything announced during last year’s Star Wars Celebration London 2023.
