X-Men 97 Achieves 4 Million Views On Disney+ Hotstar In Less Than A Week
According to an official statement by Disney (via Variety), X-Men 97 has surpassed a whopping four million views on Disney+ Hotstar in its first five days since it premiered on 20 March 2024.
This marks their most-watched premiere for a full-length animated series since Season 1 of Marvel’s What If…? in 2021.
The synopsis reads:
The upcoming animated series revisits the iconic era of the 1990s as The X-Men, a band of mutants who use their uncanny gifts to protect a world that hates and fears them, are challenged like never before, forced to face a dangerous and unexpected new future.
The voice cast includes Ray Chase as Cyclops, Jennifer Hale as Jean Grey, Alison Sealy-Smith as Storm, Cal Dodd as Wolverine, JP Karliak as Morph, Lenore Zann as Rogue, George Buza as Beast, AJ LoCascio as Gambit, Holly Chou as Jubilee, Isaac Robinson-Smith as Bishop, Matthew Waterson as Magneto and Adrian Hough as Nightcrawler.
X-Men The Animated Series originally aired on Fox Kids for 76 episodes across five seasons from 1992 to 1997. The series is currently available to stream on Disney+ Hotstar.
