Team17 Underwater Exploration Mystery Thalassa Edge of the Abyss gets PC Release Date

Publisher Team17 and developer Sarepta Studio have announced that their anticipated deep-sea exploration mystery game, Thalassa: Edge of the Abyss is coming to PC in less than 2 months. The game promises to deliver a compelling narrative, the necessary tools for exploration, and challenging puzzles to unravel the mystery.

Set in the year 1905, players take on the role of Cam, a deep-sea diver who is part of a crew comprised of adventurers and pioneers aboard the ship Thalassa. The crew’s mission is to raise a long-forgotten Spanish galleon from the depths of the ocean. However, what should be a joyous day for historical discovery quickly takes a dark turn.

After an unforeseen incident, Cam finds himself in need of time to recover. Unfortunately, he discovers that Thalassa has met an untimely end. His former crewmates have disappeared, leaving Cam as the sole survivor. With Bailey, his diving support, providing guidance from the surface, it is up to Cam to uncover what really happened in the final moments of the ship’s existence.

Thalassa: Edge of the Abyss is set to launch on 19 June 2024 for PC via Steam.
