The Transformers G.I. Joe Movie Is Officially In The Works

The Transformers G.I. Joe crossover movie is officially happening and confirmed by Paramount Pictures (via Deadline).

However, no other details were revealed.

The Transformers G.I. Joe crossover movie was originally teased in the post-credits scene in 2023’s Transformers Rise Of The Beasts (check out our in-depth breakdown here).

Both the Transformers and G.I. Joe IPs are owned by Hasbro, which is why it’s possible for them to cross over with each other.

In fact, they have previously crossed over in comics before. G.I. Joe is the code name for an organization that protects the world from global threats like the criminal terrorist organization, Kobra.

Their first crossover was in the G.I. Joe And The Transformers 4-issue comic book limited series published by Marvel Comics in 1987.

Another crossover was in Marvel’s Generation 2.

There were also several comics published by IDW, including the Transformers Vs. G.I. Joe comics.

However, most recently, in 2023, Skybound and Hasbro started the Energon Universe line of comics, which is a shared comic book universe including both the Transformers and G.I. Joe franchises.
