Winnie the Pooh: Blood & Honey 2 Premieres without Censorship in Malaysia

The local film distributor, Mega Films Distribution, has officially announced that the sequel to the horror slasher film based on the classic cartoon series, Winnie the Pooh: Blood & Honey 2, will be screened in Malaysian cinemas without any censorship. This exciting news applies to both TGV and GSC cinemas nationwide.

While the film has successfully dodged the censorship process, viewers are cautioned that it has been designated with an age-appropriate warning. This advisory urges individuals who are easily disturbed or pregnant women to exercise caution when watching the film. Malaysia will be one of the first countries in the region to screen the sequel, ahead of countries such as Singapore and Thailand.

In this sequel, the bloodthirsty version of Winnie the Pooh and Piglet and Tigger will take their vengeful quest out of the Hundred Acre Wood and venture into the town of Ashdown, seeking retributions following the events of the first movie.

The uncut version of Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey 2 will be available in all Malaysian cinemas from 10 April 2024.
