A Marvel’s Vision MCU Series Is In The Works, Coming In 2026

Marvel Studios is working on a Vision TV series for the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

According to Variety, Marvel has hired Star Trek Picard showrunner Terry Matalas to be the showrunner for a Vision series, which will be set to release sometime in 2026. Paul Bettany will reprise his role as the android Avenger, Vision.

In the MCU, after Vision died at the hands of Thanos in 2018’s Avengers: Infinity War, he returned in 2021’s WandaVision on Disney+. The series ended with a resurrected white version of the Vision, who leaves Wanda and goes on exploring for a new purpose in life.

Vision will technically be the second spinoff series from 2021’s WandaVision after Agatha All Along, which is slated to premiere in September 2024.

In the meantime, you can check out my previous breakdown and easter egg articles for WandaVision; the first two episodes, Episode 3, Episode 4, Episode 5, Episode 6, Episode 7, Episode 8 and Episode 9.
