Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake Gets Official Platforms Three Years After Original Reveal
Square Enix originally announced the Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake or Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake on this day all the way back in 2021. Now, three years later, they have unveiled a new teaser that confirms the platforms for the upcoming game.
The 20-second clip features the updated design of the iconic Dragon Quest 3 logo. The video simply says “The legacy begins.” and lists the PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

The text inside the post itself says “The legend of Erdrick draws near.” Erdrick is the name of the protagonist of Dragon Quest 3. Dragon Quest 3 is one of the most influential JRPGs and it was originally released for the NES in 1988.
