Manor Lords Is Steam’s Game Of The Moment, With 170K Players All In At Once While Not Crashing

Early Access games these days have been in the PC Steam top of the pops for a while, with publisher Hooded Horse’ latest city building game being the latest trend this month.

Manor Lords is the platform’s top game at the moment, right now in Early Access for all to play. During the weekend of 27 April, the strategy game had over 170,000 players playing at once, with no reports of major system crashes for the game while in its Early Access state. According to the developer Slavic Magic via X, the game will crash if you’re using old drivers on your PC.

“99% crashes so far are old drivers. And when people say ‘I updated the drivers’, I check logs and see old drivers.”

If you’re having problems here, all you have to do to fix it is to download the respective GPU manufacturers’ recent driver packages.
