Cyberpunk Platformer Adventure Eden Genesis Release Date Revealed

Spain-based video game company Aeternum Game Studios has finally revealed the release date for the anticipated cyberpunk platformer adventure game Eden Genesis. The brand-new IP was first announced a year ago during the Aeternum Game Studios Showcase 2023 June Edition, where the studio confirmed that it would develop a title not related to the Aeterna series.

Eden Genesis immerses players in a futuristic world ruled by powerful tech conglomerates, putting them in the shoes of Leah, a young cyborg woman embarking on an experimental treatment to discover a cure for a deadly affliction threatening augmented people. The game challenges players to navigate through various trials, facing environmental dangers, hostile foes, and intricate platforming puzzles. Success in these trials unlocks the protagonist’s mental potential and battles the degenerative effects of technological implants.

The game is crafted with an intuitive level design, ensuring fluid and precise control over movements. As players refine their skills and Leah unlocks more of her neuronal connections, the game rewards them with the ability to achieve faster trial completions, enhancing the sense of progress and mastery over the game’s challenges. With its emphasis on scalability and responsive controls, Eden Genesis is poised to deliver a platforming experience that demands precision in movement and combat.

Upon completing the main storyline in Eden Genesis, players will unlock additional content, including optional trials that promise to test even the most seasoned gamers. Despite this, the game is designed to be broadly accessible, ensuring a satisfying experience for a wide range of players.

Eden Genesis is slated to launch on 6 August 2024 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam, followed by Nintendo Switch sometime this September.
