Kaiju No.8 Is Getting A Video Game

Hot new anime/manga series Kaiju No.8 is getting a video game adaptation. And yes, it’s going to be for mobile and PC.

The upcoming game will be made by Akatsuki Games in collaboration with TOHO and Production IG. The title will be a free-to-play title with in-game purchases slated for PC and mobile phone (iOS and Android). No release date has been announced yet.

Kaiju No.8 is a manga series about a guy named Kafka who works in kaiju after-battle clean-up duty with the Defense Force. He somehow gets attached to a kaiju parasite that transforms him into a powerful kaiju, and also aims to participate in the frontlines alongside his childhood friend Mina Ashiro. Helping him out is clean-up duty buddy Reno Ichikawa.
