Metroid Prime 4 Finally Has A Gameplay Trailer; Slated For Next Year
Today’s June Nintendo Direct saved the best for last: official new gameplay for the long-awaited first-person shooter search action sequel Metroid Prime 4.
Officially called Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, the new gameplay trailer shows off Samus Aran in her trademark bounty hunter suit taking down new alien foes. The game will be out for Nintendo Switch in 2025.
The last time Metroid Prime 4 was announced was back in 2017, with a minor update on 2019. Even the title card for the new reveal is different from the last trailer. In any case, expect a lot of first-person shooting, third-person ball-morphing, loads of scanning, and a ton of platforming and exploration in the fourth mothership entry of the series that isn’t past its prime.
