Raunchy New Kingdom Come: Deliverance II Revealed At Summer Game Fest
The Summer Game Fest Livestream kicked off with a bang as gamers were treated to an exclusive glimpse of the highly anticipated sequel to Warhorse Studios’ 2018 hit, Kingdom Come: Deliverance. Simply titled Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, the game aims to build upon the success of its predecessor while introducing exciting new features.
First announced back in April, today’s showcase added fuel to the hype train. However, fans will have to wait a bit longer for a concrete release date, with the game scheduled to drop sometime in 2024.
The latest trailer for Deliverance II offers a tantalising glimpse into the game’s narrative, showcasing a blend of intense action and humour reminiscent of the original. Set against the backdrop of a civil war ravaging 15th-century Bohemia, players will once again step into the shoes of protagonist Henry of Skalitz as he navigates through a tumultuous world.
What sets Deliverance II apart is its promise of a significantly expanded experience. The game boasts a larger world map, deeper RPG mechanics, and more freedom in character development. Despite these enhancements, Warhorse Studios is adamant about maintaining the series’ commitment to realistic combat and world-building.
With a larger team behind it, thanks to Warhorse Studios’ growth since the first game’s release, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II is shaping up to be a monumental undertaking.
